Arrow-mashers at the Olympics
At least two of the American athletes at the Winter Olympics are known for their DDR-playing ability as well as their fancy footwork on the snow and ice. According to People magazine, figure skater Rachael Flatt is described by her coach Tom Zakrajsek as “a demon” at DDR. And alpine skier Julia Mancuso was reported by the New York Times to have nearly missed out on the opening ceremonies due to her love of the dance pad. She also travels with a karaoke set and a Guitar Hero game, says the NYT. Cool!
